Sharon Onyango

Sharon has been involved in sports all her life and participated in sprinting, tennis and basketball during her schooling years and is currently participating in rugby.

Having completed a degree in finance and secured a job as a financial analyst, it soon became apparent that a career in finance and a young family were not a match made in heaven. So, in 2008 she retrained and achieved a diploma in personal training with YMCAfit. This then naturally led to a career in remedial and sports massage therapy as a way to keep her clients fit and injury and pain free.

Sharon is a soft tissue therapist who holds a BTEC level 5 qualification in sports and remedial massage and is a member of the ISRM (The institute for soft tissue therapists), she is also a student reflexologist and a student member of the AoR(Association of Reflexologists)
Sharon has a passion for functional movement and keeping the body pain free and functioning at its best; to this end she continues to attend accredited Continued Professional Development courses on a regular basis with the aim to offer the best treatment based on the most up to date information and research available.

She believes that each body is different and whether one is suffering from stress, sports or lifestyle/work related dysfunction/injury an individual approach should be taken and treatment be tailored to them and not be as a matter of course.
