Kalman had been carrying and nursing injuries from various sports activities and work when he received his first professional Sports Massage. After just a couple of treatments he was completely amazed with the positive changes to his body. He felt noticeably reduced levels of pain, improvement to his flexibility, mobility and strength and an overall good feeling of wellbeing.
It was this sole experience that inspired him to practice as a Soft Tissue Therapist with a BTEC Level 5 diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage and also became a full member of ISRM (Institute for Sports & Remedial Massage). Kalman has also recently added Medical Acupuncture (Dry Needling) to his ever growing repertoire.
Kalman has experience with treating minor and chronic musculoskeletal injuries including neck & shoulder and lower back pain with positive results. He has treated many other conditions, such as sciatica (piriformis syndrome), tennis/golfers elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, achilles tendonitis, plantar fascia, knee and hip pain related to tight muscles in the legs and glutes.
He always makes a concerted effort to evaluate the root cause for a musculoskeletal disorder, digesting carefully the case history for a better and more complete understanding.
