Daniel graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in 2013 with a Master in Osteopathy (M.Ost). He is a qualified sports massage therapist and personal trainer. He is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (IO).
Daniels interest in osteopathy grew from his career as a personal trainer. During this time he observed clients having difficulty performing basic movement patterns (such as a squat) maybe due to past/present injury history, coordination/skill or postural changes (making the movement difficult). Some of Daniels clients also suffered from low back, knee, ankle or shoulder pain and he wanted to know how he could help them more. This led to him taking further training courses in corrective exercise, movement and rehabilitation and finally retraining as an osteopath.
He is passionate about osteopathy and enjoys working with people. He is particularly interested in identifying the cause(s) of a patient’s problem and if possible finding a solution. Daniel often uses massage and joint mobilization/ manipulation in his treatments along with advice on managing their complaint. He also gives exercises for posture correction, rehabilitation from injury and performance.
