Josephine is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, and of the U.K branch of the Toyohari Association (Tokyo, Japan).

She studied Philosophy at University and then worked in the N.H.S environment as a Psychiatric Social Worker, and later as a Psychotherapist. After qualifying as an Acupuncturist, at the London School of Acupuncture, (now part of Westminster University), she went to Nanjing, China to work in a busy Out – Patients’ Department of the City Hospital.

Josephine continued her post graduate studies with Claude Larre and Elisabeth Rochat de la Valee, and at the Northern School of Acupuncture in York. She learned the Toyohari system, which is a style of Acupuncture devised by blind practitioners in Japan, in Amsterdam and Tokyo.

Over the course of fifteen years, Josephine has successfully treated patients suffering a wide range of complaints from Menstrual tension, Polycystic ovaries, Endometriosis, Painful or Cystic breasts, Male and Female infertility to Women undergoing IVF.
